Interviewed by Caramel's Tgirls

I’ve been following Aly’s career for about six years. After watching her star rise over the years made the opportunity to ask her every question I’ve always wanted to ask extra-special.

Caramel: Hi, Aly. Thanks for doing this interview with me. As you’ve known, I’ve been a fan of your website Hotties-Unlimited for quite some time and in July 2009, you signed with the Altporn Network to launch the much anticipated Club Aly Sinclair. I’ve heard great things about the photographer and director Sean Adamz. How did you begin to develop your new website with Sean?

Aly: Thank you for having me Cara! You have made a great name for yourself in the adult community and I appreciate being able to be a part of your work.  You’re very kind, I am proud of my new company and our girls. My amateur website was a good building block. Though, this is much more fun. I had known and envied Sean Adamz’s work since 2005 when his LazerBunny.com went live. We both were based out of Philadelphia, PA. We even had the same overall network of friends. Amazingly, I didn’t get to meet him until the summer of 2009 when I signed with his Altporn Network.

Though, all good things in time as they say. ClubAlySinclair.com went live October 2009 with 3 months of work to build a content base. His work was really what I aspired to produce in my own way. Now, I get the chance to make Porn that I always dreamed of with his help, which I do appreciate and thoroughly enjoy! I’m a very lucky little girl!

Caramel: A hot one, too. I absolutely love Club Aly Sinclair. The quality of the movies is superb, the length is just perfect, the photos are hot and it offers Zip files, top-shelf mpeg and iPod portable formats and no download limits. The price is very reasonable, too. How’s everything going with the new site from your perspective?

Aly: Surely, it takes a bit of time and love to build a website from scratch. But, I have been lucky enough to have an advantage working with Sean as my main photographer and our Network girls,  Ariel Adore,  Arden Adamz and Mistress Astrid. They’re all sorts of hot, so working with them to build my content is wonderful! It makes coming to shoot that much better!

As for the technical specs of the site, thank you for being so complimentary. I know Sean has worked hard to find a Content Management system that offers what it does. We truly want to make a strong effort to consider our viewers entertainment “needs”. We work to provide the best quality formats, and variety thereof, that we can for excellent BaNg! for your wackin’ buck.

Caramel: Great job of catering to those “needs” we all have.

You’ve worked with Bob Coulter for CraZyBaBe, another great photographer. What as it like shooting for CraZyBaBe?

Aly: I had wanted to meet Mr. Coulter so hard for many years. He has so many amazing models in his portfolio. And, I was always envious of friends getting a chance to shoot with him for sure.

In cold, cold January 2010 I got my wish.  I had contacted Bob about getting together around October 2009, but scheduling for me to go to NY or him coming to Philadelphia never quite matched. Then we made the brave move to book a date in the cold, cold days of January.  I was to meet him at one of his favorite hotels right off of Times Square to shoot. The place looks like a place one goes to die. But, that’s kinda the beauty of it. And, that is what Bob specializes in.  I love it!  I hope you do too!

All good things come in time as they say, and I am thankful they did.  Bob is everything I hoped he’d be and much more than I could have ever expected.  His work makes me wet. Yes I said it!

Caramel: LOL that makes two of us.

Your content ranges from girl-next-door to kinky dungeon play, to hot office encounter fantasies, to wild threesomes and orgies. Did you make a gradual transition from glamour girl to Alt/Punk/Goth chick or have you always been edgy?

Aly: Well, while I don’t try to be a non-conformist, I generally end up being one out of my own tastes for life and it’s proverbial buffet. While I can be very prim and proper, I find that a facade and enjoy being an alternative to that.  It just suits me better.  I wouldn’t call myself, goth, punk or a glamour model. I’m just a horny girl who likes to get naked on camera! How I dress depends on my mood more than anything. I do enjoy being all the above time and again. I don’t find them mutually exclusive and all fit me and my likes. They’re all just who I am. And, while I am an Alt model, I will be even different from that.  Keep an eye on my site to see the changes in me!

Caramel: Would you consider yourself a submissive?

Aly: I am a submissive in many ways, but I am flawed in that I could never live as a submissive collared to a Master or Mistress. I love letting go to an aggressive guy or girl.  I enjoy relinquishing control of myself. I find it quite hot and I find it very intense when done by a truly trained hand. There is a spark there that is quite powerful.

Alas, I am too stubborn I fear to ever be collared or owned by anyone. I have this general dislike of authority and I find myself chaffing under the control of another before very long. So, recognizing my enjoyment of the activity, I do play when I feel the need, and I do enjoy it immensely. Though, I am also, enjoying the Domme role more and more as I have been able to express myself that way in scenes for other companies.  I enjoy the challenge of being a well controlled Domme, but I have a lot more education to go to meet that aim. I’m studying as I write this now, actually.

Caramel: Practice makes perfect! So now you’re living in Hollywood. What’s it like for you living in “Tinseltown” now? I’ve been to Philly often and know it’s a whole lot different!

Aly: I’ll be honest, the first 4 months here in L.A. have been a total blur. I love it here, I loved it in Philadelphia too.  It’s definitely a different flavor here.  But, I have felt at home form the start as many folks have treated me so nicely.  Master Liam and his wife Alice, Michael Kahn, Brandon Vasquez and so many more folks have been very kind. I appreciate it.

Caramel: Some of your favorite bands are Radiohead, Depeche Mode, Nirvana, Pantera and Massive Attack. What else is on your playlist these days?

Aly: Ah, you did your research! I do like all the above, of which Nirvana will always be one of my favorites. Deerhunter has been my current choice for everyday happiness.  I kinda have a crush on Pete Doherty of Babyshambles and the Libertines. Interpol is always a staple of my playlist. It suits every occasion.  I also am enjoying more Jazz these days, like Charlie Parker, Coltrane, Miles Davis. Jazz and even classical help me find balance. Balance is key.

Caramel: You have great taste. So, what’s it like for a petite Italian-American (current measurements 5’8?, 34C-24-36) from Philadelphia who was Catholic school educated for 16 years and a college graduate to become a premier transsexual pornstar?

Aly: Growing up I was a guilt ridden mess who held the vision of perfect youth for appearances sake. That’s no way to live. I’m not sure if that was my upbringing, Catholic Guilt, or my own perceptions of reality that I describe. But, I know I do value education and I am happy to have completed my studies at a University that is respected. It seems respect is key these days, without it, one is lost in a waves of futility. Porn is still futile in it’s realities, just maybe not as much since I enjoy it. Porn gives me a way to take a break from the realities of the world and enjoy some time happily in my own head. Pun intended. We need to focus on what makes us happy more often and I highly recommend Porn for such instances. Focus on the things you enjoy in life and you will be a much happier person. I’ll give you one of my favorite quotes to describe better what I mean:

Caramel: Brilliant. So when did you begin HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy) and did your friends and family freak when you came out?

Aly: Truly, I am lucky. In 2003 I began hormones and was met with support from my friends. It was actually fun to be able to tell them all. Family on the other hand took some time to come around. I get along well with my both my parents, just not always as well as you would like, as you can imagine.

All I know is I am happy now and that’s all that counts, right?  If anyone sees you’re happy how can they deny that, regardless of family or friend?  Besides, it’s my, and your decision anyway, not theirs. So, who really cares what others think in the end, right?

Caramel: Damn right! I remember your debut with photographer Tony Vee of Shemale Yum back in 2004, a year before you launched Hotties-Unlimited. I saw your potential to go straight to the top of the industry back then. Were you nervous the first time you posed for Yum?

Aly: Hahah. Thank you, Cara!  Yes, you remember that!  I was absolutely nervous!  I had that deer in the headlights look the whole shoot. Now, Tony Vee is very cool and was completely great for my first shoot. I appreciate Shemale Yum and Tony to this day for coming down to Philadelphia to treat me with care.  On a side note, I recently saw Tony Vee at The Tranny Awards and that was our 5 year reunion. I like Tony. It’d be cool to see him more often.

Caramel: Tony adds commentary to his videos and I’ve always had the feeling he’s a great guy.

So, your AltPorn Network team includes Ariel Adore, Arden Adamz and Mistress Astrid. Were these gg (genetic girl) models familiar with transsexual porn before you’d met them and did you receive a warm greeting?

Aly: Oh my yes, they were familiar with TS girls. And, oh my yes, I enjoy their company all around. I’ve been very fortunate to be a part of our Network. Sean picked a great group. We all get along very well. We’re much alike in our tastes and enjoy one another’s company. That makes for working together so much better. We actually have fun! I think it shows through when people enjoy themselves.

Ariel Adore has been very outspoken about her liking TS girls. She was even on record at her Club Jenna interview as TS girls being one of her best likes, which is super cool. We have already done a video and a bunch of pictures together for each others sites. I really like Ariel. She’s bubbly and very sex oriented which is fun!

Mistress Astrid is a founding writer of Spread Magazine and staunch supporter of women’s rights and sex workers. She also founded the GLBT organization at her college. So, she is certainly a pleasure. You can see Mistress Astrid in a video with me directed by Sean Adamz where I am her submissive in many, many deviant ways. It turned out to be a really hot scene. And, Sean’s filming and edit makes me quite happy.

And,  Arden, while she may look sweet and innocent is actually more savvy than 99% of the folks I have met in the world of sex. She has been a model since a young age and always was around open people growing up.  So, she has been nonplussed by me. Caramel: It’s getting hot in here! Pheew!

You appeared in Goodfella’s Productions “America’s Next Top Tranny 5” with Mandy Mitchell and MILF star Kelly Leigh, and  Shemale Strokers 36 and 39, both AVN nominated companies. You were also in Robert Hill’s “American Trannies Masturbate Too.” What’s it like making feature films and will you continue to so or is all your focus going toward your website now?

Aly: Absolutely, I loved making those movies! It’s a dream to. And, it’s a dream to be making movies in my own way for my own site. But, it’s always fun to work with different people and in different scenarios that what I might usually do for my own website. It opens me up to new avenues of fun, like with Mandy and Kelly Leigh, which I appreciate.

While being only in L.A. for 4 months, I have done a few things that I wouldn’t normally have done for my website, like ballbusting, cuckolding and Domming men. Debi Diamond Films has Amber Rayne, Deviant Kade and myself in a real good cuckold scene where Amber really shines. It was fun to watch her in action! I hope to get to work with many more companies in many different roles to learn more of what I am missing.

Caramel: Who are some other stars you’d like to work with in the future?

Aly: There’s a lot of Fetish and BDSM stars that I would love to get together with in the future.  I can’t say names as I don’t like to name drop or say someone before the video is done, really.  But, all will be revealed as Club Aly Sinclair continues.  Also, check out my Behind the Scenes Blog for details, preview pictures and stories about shoots that are posted now to the Club.

Caramel: As a college graduate, how do you think you would have enjoyed a possible 9 to 5 situation? If not a regular day job, what else might you have done for a living?

Aly: I have worked in Golf, Real-Estate and the Beer industry. I’m an Apple Certified System Administrator and run my own IT business. But, none of these roles have been as satisfying as having a creative outlet to be myself in Porn.

Porn is special because it is something I really enjoy.  I am drawn toward beauty in all mediums.  And, being able to make beautiful things in Porn, really makes me happy like no other position I ever had.  It’s the one medium of creativity that I feel I can contribute something worth while. I feel very lucky to have it.

Caramel: We’re lucky to have you. I love the work you’ve done with Shemale Club and I’m very impressed with the whole SMC team. Who did you have the opportunity to meet and work with at SMC?

Aly: Thank you, Cara!  I really enjoyed working with SMC on two occasions now. The first shoot was with Mandy Mitchell for exclusive content between her site and mine. We got together at their L.A. Studio with Nick shooting and Yoko doing our makeup very nicely. I really enjoy getting to play with Mandy as her demeanor balances my own very well. Nick is an excellent photographer for sure.

As the cliche goes, the lovely and talented Danielle Foxxx did my second shoot at her place for Shemale Club.  We actually got to spend the day together to galavant around town a bit.  She is a very cerebral girl and quite talented in many ways.  She did my make-up that day in a way I could never do it which was really quite good. And, she photographed me and did just as well as Nick, who has been shooting for something close to 20 years or so for Glamor Magazines. SMC really does a very good job with their sites.

Caramel: How was working with Sammy Mancini’s Shemale Strokers?

Aly: I’ve been very lucky to work with some great folks in my short time here in L.A. And Sammy has assembled one of the best outfits out here. I’ve shot for Sammy on 4 occasions now. He’s a real genuine guy who loves what he does, and puts together a great shoot, I’d say because of it.  Plus, he has a sense of humor in his videos which makes me happy and able to play with the viewer a bit.

The first two times I got to shoot at his place, which turned out excellently. Each set went on Shemale Strokers 36 and 39 respectively.  I couldn’t have been happier! We did a strip tease and some bondage play which is always make me smile for sure.

I recently shot once again with his new photographer Josh and his manager, Steviee in a couple studio shoots in the Valley, which I really enjoyed.  Josh shot me first where I owned a restaurant and showed you my special after hours menu. LoL.

The second shoot was my favorite of the two with Josh where I got to do a boy girl scene with Gabriel that should turn out real hot for Bang My Tranny Ass 6. Gabriel threw me around nicely in the BDSM scenario and made me lick more than his boot, I can say for a bit of a teaser.

Caramel: For as long as I’ve been following TS adult entertainment, I’ve heard that Bob of Bob’s Tgirls is one of the sweetest guys to hang out with. What was it like working with Bob?

Aly: Bob is like the High Hefner of TS Porn. He’s the man!  In August I got to go by his lovely home in the Valley. We got to spend the day shooting and hang out in the evening playing pool and relaxing in the grotto  hot tub after. Mandy and Tara Emory were with me for the day and were doing Yoga on the grass Bob and I were shooting.  It was a great day.  Bob made me feel very much at home and I appreciate that a lot.  And, of course, he takes some real hot pictures. We did a couple sets, one a school girl chained to the house for good measure. And, the second being a centerfold style on his new red couch. Both turned out real nice! Bob knows his porn, I’ll tell you that.

Caramel: I want to thank you again Aly and wish you continued success with Club Aly Sinclair. I love that you’re hot yet not conceited, bright yet down-to-earth and the rewards for those qualities will go such a long way for you. You’re so sweet and I love seeing nice people achieving the success they’ve worked hard for and truly deserve.
